The design draws inspiration from the industrial character of the existing wood veneer factory.

The existing building is approached not only as a physical structure, but also as a carrier of memory and production culture.
While respecting the memory of the former structure, the project responds with a new lightweight architectural framework, creating a contrast that reinterprets the site’s industrial heritage.

Given the scale of the main volume, the project adopts a passive environmental strategy in which the large open structure is naturally ventilated, while smaller enclosed units integrated within the main mass are individually climate-controlled.
