Tropical House

It is a residential wooden skeletal house located on São Tomé Island.
The house is designed for two people and is situated near a river.

The wide openings of the building are oriented toward the prevailing wind direction, allowing natural ventilation and helping to keep the interior spacious and comfortable in the island’s humid climate.

The roof is designed to collect rainwater.
The shutters can be opened and closed at any time, creating different spatial perceptions and levels of privacy.
