Expectation: Rethinking housing for cooperative solidarity in Fatih–İstanbul. We have designated the project area for our cooperative housing exercise, a 2630 square meter public property in one of the neighboring blocks of the Cistern of Mocius. A residential environment with a density of 400 p/ha [people per hectare] in this area.The expectation is to allocate at least 40% of the area for public and/or common use. Producing housing solutions for 120 people with an additional 1200-1300 sqm non-residential program components. Envision not just apartments but complex habitats in which people live, work, play, learn, exercise, produce, shop, and share.
